Do you, at all, taper or shave the side of your head? or is it always kept long but low in volume?

I taper the very bottom of the back, but I keep the sides trimmed. I don’t shave it too low, I like a good amount of volume/texture.

I wish it was second of the two options but I am indeed naturally curly haha. I’d have a crazy head of hair if I left it untamed.
